St Fillan's Episcopal Church
8 Buckstone Drive, Edinburgh, EH10 6PD

St Fillan's is looking for a new organist, or organists to make up a team.

St Fillan's is a small (40 to 50 on a Sunday) Scottish Episcopal Church congregation on the southernmost edge of Edinburgh city, close to the Lothianburn junction of the bypass. St Fillan's church is a 1938 "village hall", multi-purpose building, but which is made into a traditional worship space for Sunday mornings. Our regular Sunday worship takes the form of a modern rite Eucharist at 10am. The congregation sings a setting of the Eucharist and traditional hymns, and one modern hymn or song. The congregation are well used to learning new music and are responsive to rehearsal. The style of worship is simple and reverent.
St Fillan's has an electronic organ: 2 manual with full pedalboard.

The congregation will be happy to cover any expenses, but do not have the means to offer a stipend or honorarium for services. The congregation is very musical, contains many able singers, and would be extremely appreciative of any services given.
