The four day course is centred on Edinburgh’s unique range of instruments. The course will be based in St Andrew’s and St George’s Parish Church in George Street, and most classes will take place within a short walk from here.

There is something for everyone, from those who have just discovered the rewards of playing the organ to the experienced player. Whether you are a Parish Church organist, an organ scholar or more advanced player, or simply enjoy playing the organ and want to improve your skills, there is something here for you.

The course will be divided three ability levels:

Beginner (up to Grade IV)

Intermediate (approximately Grades V-VII)

Advanced (Grade VIII and above)

  • Repertoire classes will feature the music of J.S.Bach, Franck, Vierne, and chorale prelude literature
  • Technique and skills classes for all levels including RCO Diploma tests
  • Workshops in choral conducting, improvisation and service accompaniment
  • Daily Course Service
  • Individual tuition also available

On receipt of your application form and deposit you will be sent a draft timetable and full repertoire list.
